Authority Cafe develops online marketing strategies for ourselves and others. Online marketing strategies include website design, social media marketing, local search marketing, and mobile marketing. All of these elements must work together to accomplish the strategic marketing goals of all businesses, particularly for small business marketing.

Authority Cafe Founder Keith Hogsed is an idea guy. He loves to generate new business ideas and new marketing ideas. But he also knows how to turn those ideas into effective marketing and business development plans and ultimately into a successful return on investment. He also has lots of technical skills as well, although he likes to find partners to work with who can provide better, more efficient results than even he can.

The initial idea behind Authority Cafe was to develop a series of web properties built on information, products, and advertising. In developing this concept and the skills to accomplish it, it soon became clear that lots of local businesses need the same market research, website development, and ongoing marketing efforts that make any business successful in today's market.

When Keith decided to start providing online marketing services to other businesses, like most business start-ups, he started providing services to family and friends. These initial clients provided great opportunities, support and referrals. Several made comments to the effect that they either just didn't understand everything it takes to be successful in today's market or they had been burned in their online marketing efforts before, and that they were only trying again because of the trust they had in Keith's integrity and skills.
